How Our Daily and Weekly Rental Pricing Works
We want you to know exactly what you'll pay before you book. Here's how every part of the price is calculated. It's the same calculation the booking page uses.
Daily and weekly rates
- Utility Trailer: $150 per day, $500 per week
- Cargo Van: $130 per day, $780 per week
A "day" is 24 hours from your pickup time. If you pick up at 10 AM, you return by 10 AM the next day.
You never pay more than the weekly rate for a partial week. For the utility trailer, 4 or more days at the daily rate would cost more than a full week, so any rental from 4 to 6 days is charged the $500 weekly rate. Longer rentals are charged whole weeks first, then any extra days.
Fleet coverage fee
Every rental includes a required fleet coverage fee of $25 per day for the utility trailer and $25 per day for the cargo van, charged for each day of the rental. It helps pay for our own commercial insurance on the vehicles.
To be clear about what it is: it isn't an insurance policy for you, and it doesn't reduce your responsibility for damage to the vehicle. Before you rent, check whether your own auto insurance or credit card covers rentals.
Maryland rental tax
Maryland taxes short-term vehicle rentals at its own rates instead of the regular sales tax. The rate for your rental (8%) is shown on its own line at checkout and on your receipt.

Notice that the utility trailer costs the same $500 rental price for 4 days as for 7: the weekly rate applies.
What happens if plans change
Cancel at least 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, everything is refunded except one day's rental plus tax. Details are in our cancellation and refund policy.
Charges that can come up later
Most rentals end with no extra charges. The ones that can apply are listed in the rental agreement: late returns (after a 59-minute grace period), refueling the van, extra cleaning, tolls and tickets, or damage. For anything other than a late return, we email you an itemized notice first.
