This policy explains what information RSM Trading LLC ("we") collects through rsmrental.com, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- When you book: your name, email, phone number, home address, date of birth, and driver's license number, state, and expiration date.
- When you sign the rental agreement: your typed name and drawn signature, the time you signed, your IP address, and your browser type. We keep these as a record of the signed agreement.
- Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe keeps your card on file for charges described in your rental agreement.
- During the rental: information about the rental, such as condition reports, photos, and any incidents.
We don't use advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To confirm you're eligible to rent, and to manage your booking and rental agreement
- To take payment and process refunds or authorized charges
- To email you your signed agreement and messages about your rental
- To keep records required for tax, insurance, and legal purposes, and to protect our vehicles
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the rental:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Google (email and web hosting)
- Our insurer, if there's an accident, damage, or a claim
- Toll and citation authorities, for tolls and tickets during your rental
- Law enforcement or courts, when required by law or to recover a vehicle
How long we keep it
We keep booking records and signed agreements as long as needed for legal, tax, and insurance purposes, then delete them.
How we protect it
The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Booking records are stored on a private server with restricted access, and card details stay with Stripe.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need to keep it. Call (240) 910-0257 or email mechanicsrentals3390@gmail.com.
Children
Our rentals are only for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
